Board Letter for New Desks

Room 22
Muritai Road
Eastbourne
14\02\2012
Dear Board of Trustees and Principal of Muritai,
I am a member of Room 22 and I have noticed that the desks are in poor condition. I am writing this letter to request new desks for the Senior School. These are my reasons why.
Firstly, the desks are damaged and have graffiti on them. The desks are also scratched and have carvings in them. This does not make a good impression on a new child or parent. This is one of many reasons why I would like new desks.
Secondly,(since the desks have no storage in or under them) everyone tries to get their stationery from the tote trays, everyone crowds around trying to receive there stationery. It seems like it’s a scrum gone wrong. People get distracted while this is happening and it takes up time that could used for learning.
Thirdly, the desks are different in width and height. We have four different kinds of desks in just one class. The desks are also unstable, some of the desks creak when you lean on them.
In conclusion, the desks are damaged and graffitied. It takes up time to receive our stationery. They creak and are different heights and have a different width. The desks have no storage room in or under them. Please make it happen for us.
Yours sincerely,
George Bridgeman-Sutton
